DNPA Code of Ethics

Purpose:

At Taza Times Now, we are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all facets of our operations. This Code of Ethics serves as a guiding framework to ensure that every member of our team conducts themselves with integrity, adhering to applicable laws and regulations, and refraining from actions motivated by personal gain.

Gifts, Favors, and Payments:
  • Gifts, favors, and payments provided by Taza Times Now must align with accepted business practices, have limited value, comply with the law, and avoid causing embarrassment to the company upon public disclosure.
  • Any payments, commissions, or compensation to associates of customers without a written contract are strictly prohibited by company policy.
Gifts, Favors, Entertainment, and Payments Received:
  • Associates are prohibited from seeking or accepting gifts, favors, entertainment, or payments without a legitimate business purpose, particularly from entities engaged in or seeking to conduct business with Taza Times Now.
  • Exceptions may be made for common courtesies associated with business practices and gifts of nominal value. However, stringent standards apply, especially concerning gifts from suppliers.
  • Conflicts of Interest:
  • Associates must steer clear of situations where personal interests clash with those of Taza Times Now, promptly disclosing any such conflicts to their manager.
  • This encompasses ownership in external enterprises transacting with or competing against Taza Times Now, holding positions with competitors, or any circumstances that may compromise the company’s interests.
Confidential Information:
  • Unauthorized disclosure or use of confidential information is strictly prohibited, and any misuse will result in disciplinary action, including termination.
Compliance:
  • Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action, ranging from warnings to termination. Associates have a duty to report any violations they become aware of.

  • Social media posts must exercise prudence, as they serve as public statements with enduring consequences.
  • Associates are expected to comprehend and adhere to company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Be Careful What You Post:
  • Associates bear personal responsibility for their online activity, and inappropriate content may lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
  • Posts should reflect personal viewpoints, with any references to Taza Times Now clearly indicated as personal opinions.
Be Respectful and Professional:
  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all communications, refraining from posts that could be perceived as offensive, threatening, or harassing.
  • Respect the privacy of others and abstain from sharing false or misleading information.
Be Honest and Accurate:
  • Accuracy is paramount, and any inaccuracies should be promptly corrected. Associates should be transparent about any revisions made to prior posts.
Respect Laws and Confidentiality:
  • Associates are required to adhere to all legal and confidentiality obligations, including copyright and privacy laws. Any Confidential information of the company should not be disclosed without any authorization.
Report Your Concerns:
  • Any concerns regarding potential policy violations should be promptly reported to Human Resources. Retaliation against whistleblowers is strictly prohibited.
Plagiarism and Fairness:
  • Plagiarism is intolerable at Taza Times Now, and reporters must ensure fairness by affording all parties involved in a story the opportunity to respond adequately.
